"True or not it doesn't matter,

I've got no place to go"

Who We Are

And What We're Doing Here

We are a group of Danny Elfman fans who were devastated to hear that he had been accused of sexual assault.

Read the original Rolling Stone article that broke the news HERE.

Read the Variety article, with additional information from Danny's team HERE.

Most of us are women. Most of us are feminists.
Many of us are survivors of sexual violence. Some of us are "silence breakers".

We know that it is important to listen to women. To listen to victims.

We also know that we are biased in favor of Danny Elfman.

(We are not involved with, or being paid by, anyone involved in these disputes.)

Keeping  all this in mind, we set out to learn more. We hoped to form solid opinions based on evidence.
We prepared ourselves to accept that he may be guilty, as painful as that would be.

However, as we dove deeper, we found it harder and harder to give the accuser the benefit of the doubt.

Here, we present our findings, for anyone who is interested enough to dive deeper.

-----

We took a 4 month hiatus, for personal reasons. Here's what's happened since:

9/21/23: Danny's legal team requested that the arbitration clause in the settlement be honored.

10/19/23: A second woman (Jane Doe-XX) accused Danny of sexual misconduct in a new lawsuit.

10/23/23: Danny's team files a response to that lawsuit, denying the claims of sexual misconduct.

11/7/23: Jane Doe-XX penned an open letter, in response to Danny's denial of her claims.

12/1/23: Abadi opposes the Motion to Compel Arbitration.

12/13/23: The Motion to Compel Arbitration was granted in the Abadi case.
